Now the television comedian is the mayor of Iceland's capital.Jon Gnarr and his Best Party won 35 percent of the vote in municipal elections. The result was a slap in the face for those responsible for Iceland's financial crisis. Gnarr had support from many prominent artists and entertainers, who want to alter the country's political landscape. We'll now be able to see whether the European Union officials who are negotiating with Iceland about EU accession can take a joke.
